About Us

Kathleen Hoza Lysak

Kathleen Lysak founded Clarity Healthcare, Inc. in 2000 to demonstrate that even the most complex and difficult problems can best be addressed using simple approaches. As President of Clarity Healthcare, Inc., Kathleen has successfully applied this philosophy with clients that have included health care providers, payors, and government health and human service agencies.

The development of this approach grew out of her experience working for several of the major stakeholders within the health care system, which gave her a unique ability to see the whole picture when addressing the challenges of working and managing in the health care system.

Kathleen was a hospital administrator for ten years, serving as Vice President for Professional Services at a community hospital, and Administrator/CEO of a county-owned specialized hospital. Kathleen has also held positions in a federal health agency and a large health insurance company, in addition to positions with large consulting firms.

Drawing on her broad experience, Kathleen developed a series of innovative tools for health care surge capacity planning. She also developed a series of planning kits for community-based pandemic influenza planning.

Ms. Lysak recent partnered with Greg Paoli to establish Clarity Healthcare Systems, LLC, an organization dedicated to developing desktop and web-based planning tools to address complex needs.

Ms. Lysak has an MBA in Health Care Management from the Wharton School of Business, and an AB degree from Princeton University.
